Goals
The goals of this activity are to motivate:
- Identification of accessibility issues in slide decks
- Remediation of identified accessibility issues
- Collaboration and discussion around accessibility best practices
Instructions
We’ve provided you with a slide deck, inspired by real slides, using a provided Google Slides theme. These slides, unfortunately, have several accessibility issues.
Your task:
- Make a copy of the slide deck
- Identify at least 3 different accessibility issues
- Try to fix at least one accessibility issue fully, across all slides
- Afterwards, we’ll apply your suggestions as a group, talk about some harder-to-fix problems, and talk about how this can apply to your recitation section and office hours!
